This is a Note full of possibility. WHO KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE GONNA BE?—a question, a celebration, and a reminder that the future is still wide open.
Piper originally wrote this to her siblings, Huxley and Acer. It's a beautiful message for anyone standing at the beginning of something new: a nursery wall, a first day of school, heading off to university—or just anyone figuring it all out.
Piper’s mum, Kate, reflects:
“When I was taking photos of this print, I caught my reflection in the glass on the frame. At nearly 50, on a day when I had huge imposter syndrome, I thought—this applies to you too, kid. Don’t be terrified. Be excited.”
So now it lives in their home as a gentle nudge: we’re all still becoming.
Piper is an autistic, learning disabled, and deaf artist whose Notes speak to the heart with honesty and warmth. This one is for the dreamers, the doubters, the kids—and the grown-ups—figuring it out as they go.
