This one’s all love. FAMILY is Piper’s playful, heart-soaked portrait of her favourite people: her sister Acer, cousins Owly and Isaac, her brother Huxley—and Piper herself, right in the middle where she belongs. It’s more than a drawing—it’s a celebration of the gang who make her laugh, keep her grounded, and love her exactly as she is.
Drawn in Piper’s signature scribbly pen lines with plenty of “love spots” sprinkled in, this piece feels like a group hug on paper. It’s chaotic in the best way—just like family.
Based in Stoke Newington, Piper is a learning disabled and autistic artist whose work bursts with emotion, humour, and raw honesty. Her art often explores the drama of relationships and the sweetness of connection, and FAMILY is no exception. It’s a reminder that the people who show up for you—loudly, messily, beautifully—are the ones worth revering.
“I love drawing—it helps me take it easy with my wobbly balance.”
