    CERAMICS
Ceramics with character. Words with heart.
A Joyful collaboration between Piper and mum Kate.
Each handmade piece is organic in form, shaped in a flecked oatmeal clay with gently wobbly edges-embracing imperfection as a kind of perfection. Piper's words are stamped into cups and plates, little Notes to her imaginary boyfriends, family, and the city she loves the most: London.
They're funny, honest and full of feeling-tiny stories about love, heartbreak, empowerment, and belonging.
Piper is autistic, deaf, and learning disabled. She describes her writing as something that helps her with "wobbly balance," and Kates's pottery mirrors that sentiment-celebrating the beauty found in uneven lines and unexpected curves.
The large dot in Piper's font style sometimes finds its way into the ceramics, a playful visual echo of her voice. Every piece is a reflection of their bond, a mother and daughter creating something perfectly imperfect-together.
