A handmade screen print of a three slightly angry/mildly cross-looking birds (Mrs Gould's Sunbirds to be precise). They're sitting on a gold branch surrounded by beautiful flowers (lucky things) - all on an illustrated matchbox.
They're printed onto beautiful gilt edged card (800gsm - which means it’s very very thick!) so it’s definitely an object to treasure.
The image is made up of 14 colours (yes 14!), each printed individually by hand:
Bright pink, Light pink, Bubblegum pink, Coral, Pinky purple, Dark but still bright red, Bright red (a different one!), Pale orange , Dark orange ,Yellow, Orangey brown, Blue, Gold, Black
